I wanted to write a review of our trek and make sure that the world knows just how amazing your company is and how grateful I am for the Poon Hill Trek experience. Here goes!! I recently had the opportunity to join one of Mountain Glow’s treks and it was a trip of a lifetime. I
was part of a group of six adults and we did the Poon Hill Trek, which took us on a magical loop through the Rhododendron forests and to the summits of some rather impressive hills with full view of the Annapurna Mountain range. Mani and his crew were brilliant at gently guiding us up the hills while keeping us rested, hydrated and well-fed. The stops along the trail had delicious meals, warm tea and beautiful views of the mountains. Mani was so good about keeping us safe in our climb and making sure we kept our bodies ready for the work ahead. No matter what your skill level, Mani will get you where you need to be.The nighttime accommodations were quite comfortable and were everything we expected on a mountain tour. The beds were cosy
and showers were provided, if needed. We were able to choose our meals, which was a lovely perk, and the food was delicious. The people who helped us along the way were wonderfully kind and helpful and we felt very well cared for. The company has truly thought of everything. All the transportation was set up for us and we easily made our way from one destination to the next without issue. Mani had arranged tours in Kathmandu and Pokhara and, in addition to the mountain hikes, we got to experience quite a bit of Nepalese culture and history. We were even given a bit of
free time to explore on our own, do some shopping or even catch a quick nap. It was a very well-
rounded tour and not a second was wasted. I can’t recommend Mani and Mountain Glow highly enough. From the moment he greeted us at the airport to dropping us off for our flights home, we were in caring, capable and knowledgeable hands. I fully intend to go back to do another trek with them one day, and I cannot wait to see what adventures Mani and the boys will have in store! Thank you to everyone at Mountain Glow Treks!
