Gokyo Ri trekking provides the beautiful views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Yu, Mt. Amadablam, Mt. Nuptse Mt. Thamserku etc. along with the opportunities to experience the ethnic Sherpa society and their rich culture.
From the ridge above Gokyo, the combined view of Everest, Cho Yu, Lhotse and Makalu is exceptional. The largest glacier of Nepal, the Ngozumba Glacier is also visible from this place.
The most spectacular scenery of all is the view of the tremendous ice ridge between Cho Yu and Gyachung Kang. Beside this, this trail offers plenty of explorations with the lovely views of nature’s amazing landscapes. The Sherpa Museum in Namche Bazaar is a must visit place.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Pre-trip Meeting and Sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. Overnight at hotel.

  • Fly to Lukla (2804 meters) trek to Phakding (2610 meters) 3 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Namche Bazaar Acclimatization day. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Phorste Thanga (3680 meters) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Machherma (4470 meters). 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Gokyo (4790 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Gokyo Ri (5483 meters) and then Back to Gokyo. 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Dole (4200 meters) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Namche Bazaar via Khumjung village (3780meters) 5 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Trek to Lukla (2804 meters.) 6 hours. Overnight at guesthouse.

  • Morning flight to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.

  • Leisure day in Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel.
