It provides the most spectacular mountain scenery in the everest region and five superb objectives-the Cho la (5420m) and the summits of Gokyo Ri(5360m), kala patthar(5545m) and Khumbu glacier and an amazing climbing experience of both peak island(5800m) and Mera(6100m). This itinerary takes you off the beaten track into the less trekked Dudh Koshi valley, to Gokyo then over the Gokyo Ri, Tso-la pass from Gokyo lake, which bypasses parts of the main Everest trail.
