Description
This trek is one among the most popular circuit trekking in the world. In 1977, when Manang area was exposed to traveler, the circuit was made accessible for trekking enthusiasts for trekking.
The trekkers enjoy the series of mountains in this circuit including the Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Annapurna II, Mt. Annapurna III, Mt. Annapurna IV, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Annapurna south, Mt Nilgiri, Mt. Machhapuchre, Mt. Himchuli, Mt. Langtangn etc. The trek also exhibits wide range of rare wildlife and vegetations. The Himalayan Thars, Leopards, Jackal, Blue sheep and many species of bird such as pheasant and long-tail birds are native to the forest of this region. Moreover, this trek also displays the rich culture of diverse communities like Brahmins, Chhetris, Tibetan Sherpas, Thakalis, Magars, Tamangs and Gurungs.
The Annapurna circuit trek trail follows the courses of two great rivers Marshyandi and Kaligandaki River. Before you pass Thorong La pass, you encounter with Marshyandi in the east while after you pass the Thorong La, you come across Kaligandaki in the west. The trek also takes you along the deepest gorge of the world, Kaligandaki which is surrounded by the Dhaulagiri in the west and in the east by Annapurna Himalayan range.
We will also visit to the famous pilgrimage ‘Muktinath Temple’. There is a belief that visit to this temple clears all the sins and one becomes pure. Besides, bath in the popular natural hot spring at Tatopani is proven to have cured many skin diseases.

The huge open fields of the land are also graced with the views of the peaks that are stunning, making the experience quite unforgettable. Another highlight of the Annapurna Circuit Trekking is the Thorong La Mountain Pass, which rises to a height of 5,416 meters. Since the high mountain pass is a safe road that runs between the Khatung Kang and the Yakawa Kang Himals, it is certain to be the most exciting portion of the trekking trip. The pass connects Muktinath with the village of Manang.
