Nar-phu valley is a hidden valley consisting of two main villages Nar and Phu which lies in the most remote area of Manang district. This trek is a restricted trek in Nepal. The government of Nepal has restricted the free individual trekking in this region to protect the native lifestyle, culture and tradition from foreign invasion. This trek provides trekkers the opportunity to explore the unique tradition, history and culture of Nar-Phu valley. The valley of Nar-Phu believes in Buddhism, where in some villages they prohibit smoking and tobacco to ensure the health of villagers. Many villages of Nar-Phu valley use hydropower to generate electricity, thus there’s no such electricity problems. The main charisma of Nar- Phu Valley is that it offers you the mesmerizing views of Mt Manaslu (8163 m), Mt Dhaulagiri (8167 m), Mt Annapurna I (8091 m) and more than 19 snow-capped peaks of the Annapurna region. Kangla pass is a 5320m high pass that connects Nar Phu Valley with Annapurna Circuit trek as well. This pass rewards the trekkers with some amazing views of the hills and mother nature. It is one of the highest passes in the Himalaya region. The best season to visit Nar-Phu valley and Kangla pass is during the spring and autumn season.
