Description

Tsum valley is a  less explored secluded sacred valley situated in northern Gorkha, Nepal. This valley was marked as a restricted area by the government of Nepal until 2008 to preserve the culture and history of this valley. Since Most of the people of Tsum valley follow Tibetan influenced Buddhism,they follow the act of non-violence. It is the gateway to the Tibetan province of neighboring China with the Tibetan border about 15 km from the village of Nylie. Trekkers can enjoy beautiful views of traditional villages situated in the Tsum valley. They get the opportunity to explore the Tibetan influenced culture,their unique indigenous way of life and many more. The valley is uniquely rich in wildlife, especially the Himalayan Thar and Blue Sheep. Most of the people of this valley are from tibet origin and speak a unique dialect which is sometimes hard to understand.

The stunning view of Ganesh Himal ,singri Himal and buddha ranges can be seen from this valley. Although this valley is remote and hidden it still has its own unique culture and way of life, which makes this valley very special. The valley is filled with beautiful raging waterfalls, floras and faunas. The trek towards Tsum valley is said to be very enjoyable and fun by the trekkers. They say that the locals are very friendly, the views are stunning and the culture is very unique.
