Langtang Kyanjin Gompa Trek Description

Langtang Kyanjin Gompa trek is one of the less trekked yet an authentic trek which takes you to the heart of the Langtang region. The picturesque scenery of the Langtang lirung(7246m),dorje lakpa(6966m), Pemathang ri, Langshisha Ri and other himalaya peaks are the main attractions of this trek. The trail takes you through the ethnic village of Kyanjin Gompa along with lush green forest accompanied with stunning mountains. The ultimate destination of this trek is Kyanjin Gompa,a small village with a prevalent Buddhist tradition. You can find several species of endangered wildlife such as the red panda, musk deer, snow leopard and many more. The chance to see these endangered animals is very rare. The highest elevation of this trek is Tsergo Ri( 4984m), which is one of the best,unpopular viewpoints of the Langtang region. 

This trek is best in the season of spring, when the open fields are carpeted with varieties of wild flowers ,multi-colored rhododendron, and many other floral species.
