Mani Ram Rai is an incredible asset to the trekking community in Nepal. With an impressive 15 years of experience leading tours in the Himalayas, Mani is highly knowledgeable about the region’s trails and is committed to the safety and satisfaction of his clients.
In addition to his expertise as a guide, Mani is also a masters degree holder majoring in sociology and is fluent in English and educated about the history of the region.
On top of his duties as a trekking guide, Mani has also worked as a coordinator for volunteering tourists, raising over 15 million Nepalese Rupees for the benefit of local communities. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and dedication make him the perfect guide for any adventure in Nepal, whether you’re experienced or just getting started.

Kailash Rai is a highly experienced trekking guide in Nepal who has been leading tours through the beautiful himalayan mountain since 1999. His extensive knowledge of the region, particularly in the areas of Everest, Annapurna, Upper Mustang, Rolwaling, Langtang, and Kanchanjungha, makes him a sought-after guide for both experienced hikers and first-time trekkers.
In addition to his work as a trekking guide, Kailash holds a degree in Humanities and Sociology and has worked as an international chef in Singapore and Saudi Arabia for 7 years. He handles his work in a very professional way and knows how to get the job done. His colleagues and clients like to describe him as a very hardworking person and driven individual who isn’t afraid to face a challenge

About
Originally, Mr. Mani Kumar Rai was born in a remote village of Solukhumbu district, where he spent most of his childhood. He is well educated about the trekking industry. He completed his primary education by a local school and completed BBS by Shankerdev campus in Kathmandu. A fluent English spoken guide who has more than 20 years’ experience in trekking and adventure field as a leader.
He began his career as a porter guide by age of 18. Mr. Rai has completed several aspects of training such as Basic Rock Climbing (BRC), Trekking Guide Training (TGT), Basic Climbing Course (BMC), and Mountain Leader Course “The course had been conducted by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and assessed by the Union of International Alpine Association (UIAA)”, etc. Mr. Rai is a certified mountain leader/instructor. He is involving in Nepal Mountain Leader Course regularly as an instructor since 2012 with Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA). As well he is a board member plus treasurer of the Nepal Mountain Leader Association (NMLA).

About
He’s a certified IFMGA, UIAGM, NNMGA mountain guide and an adventure photographer based in Nepal. he have led expedition teams to 19 mountains in Nepal, including Everest, Lhotse and Manaslu. he is the first Everest summiteer from Thulung Rai community, and the first ever IFMGA guide from the Rai community, an indigenous community from eastern Nepal.
