The name Rolwaling refers to the name,‘valley carved by a plough’ and its steep cliffs give the impression of a plough carved furrow. The Rowaling and Khumbu valleys are both justifiably renowned as among the most spectacular trekking locations in the world. Once in 1951, Eric Shipman famously captured the feet of Yeti on the Rolwaling valley, which helped to raise its popularity. You get to acknowledge the lovely views of himalayas as you climb the three peaks Yalung ri(5630m), Ramdung(5930m) and Parchamo(6273m) before crossing the high mountain pass of Tashi Lapcha (5755m).

This trek may be challenging but this trek is worth all the adventure and thrill because it is full of majestic views of the Himalayas and facets of nature. This trek features amazing views, plenty of wildlife and the cultural exuberance and natural vibrancy. The best time of the year to enjoy this trek is in the spring and autumn season when you can get a clear view of the himalayan ranges, with a clear sky.
